Rick bares the heart of a man who sincerely wants to make a difference in the lives of others. As Managing Partner at Hampton Tax Group, a Tax and Business Consulting Firm, Rick utilizes the values, philosophy and vision passed down to him by his father, Joseph Pankowski, a long time entrepreneur. Rick’s expert knowledge in finance and taxes coupled with his down to earth caring persona has helped create a loyal Hampton Tax Group clientele.

He values his clients as friends and treats each one objectively with genuine old fashioned personal service. Rick’s life experience drives his business acumen affording him the ability to better connect with small business owners. He followed in his father’s footsteps by serving his country in the Army Honor Guard. Through discipline and dedication, Rick became an Elite Army Guardsman at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After serving, Rick attended and graduated from the La Roche College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He honed his financial planning skills while working in his father’s investment firm over 20 years ago. Eventually, Rick and his father partnered and established Customized Business Strategies, specializing in tax and financial planning. Today, Rick shares his leadership role at Hampton Tax Group with his partner, Ken Cauthorn. Hampton Tax Group helps small to medium businesses, with a specialty in doctors of chiropractic, to become more profitable by reducing tax burden, increasing profit margin, and establishing a financial plan for the business.

Rick strives to provide a level of service that is often lost in today’s marketplace. So many people are actually shocked when he follows through and delivers on what he says. Rick knows that doing what you say you will do is a key factor to long term success. The next most important thing is how you handle your finances and that’s what he’s really passionate about. Hampton Tax Group has its roots as a family business and will continue to operate that way. There are many days when decisions are made based upon what his father would have done. A tenured staff provides years of expertise and guidance that has led to hundreds of thousands of dollars saved for their clients.

Rick resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Eleni and 3 children. He gives of him time and supports a variety of charities.
